Casual Educators (Cert 3/Diploma)

About the role

The Early Learning Hub (part of the Early Learners Of (ELO) Group) is seeking multiple talented Casual Educators to join our dedicated team in Spring Farm, Picton, Wilton and Warradale.

As an Educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years, supporting their cognitive, social, and emotional development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our reputable early learning centres.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

• Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters children's curiosity and love of learning

• Observe, document, and assess children's progress, using this information to individualise learning experiences

• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community

• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and the overall learning environment

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

• A Certificate 3 / Diploma or equivalent qualification

• Demonstrated experience as an Educator, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting

• Strong understanding of child development and pedagogical best practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of young children

• Current first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma management certifications

• Working with Children Check clearance

• Responsible Person experience or willingness to be trained (advantageous)
