Wayne's World is looking for an energetic, motivated and hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead our Laidley store.

About the Role

As our Retail Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Laidley store, leading a small team of part-time and casual team members.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Driving sales performance and achieving store sales and profitability targets.
• Managing stock control, inventory accuracy and merchandising standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and inviting shopping environment.
• Managing store rosters, labour costs and productivity.
• Recruiting, training and developing team members.
• Monitoring store performance and identifying opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
• Ensuring efficient daily operations and accurate POS procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety.
• Creating a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading by example and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management role.
• Experience within discount variety, general merchandise or a similar retail environment (highly regarded).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Experience with stock control and inventory management.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and retail POS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and confidence making decisions.
• A proactive, self-motivated and positive attitude.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
