Tilt Tray / HIAB Truck Operator

About the Role

LGC Equipment Hire is seeking an experienced Tilt Tray / HIAB Truck Operator to join our team in Bellevue, Western Australia, on a full-time basis.

As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport, delivery, and collection of hire equipment and machinery throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate tilt tray and HIAB trucks to transport hire equipment and machinery.

• Load, secure, unload, and position plant, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.

• Undertake pre-start, pre-departure, and post-delivery vehicle and equipment inspections.

• Ensure loads are restrained in accordance with relevant regulations and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and transport documentation.

• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and collections.

• Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

• Assist with general yard and equipment duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating tilt tray, drop deck, transport, or delivery vehicles.

• Current HR, HC or MC Driver's Licence.

• Strong understanding of load restraint, route planning, and safe driving practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Essential

• EWP (Elevating Work Platform) Licence over 11 metres, or willingness to obtain.

• Forklift Licence (LF).

• White Card.

• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.

Highly Regarded

• High Risk Work Licence with Vehicle Loading Crane (HIAB) competency.

• Experience operating cranes, lifting equipment, or transporting access equipment and machinery.

• Dogging or Rigging qualifications.
