Job Duties

• Designing menus, calculating food and labor expenses, and managing food supply orders.

• Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout the preparation and presentation stages.

• Collaborating with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waitstaff on food preparation matters.

• Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance on culinary procedures.

• Preparing and cooking meals.

• Communicating and ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.

• May be responsible for hiring and training staff.

• May also handle freezing and preserving foods.

• Coordinates and oversees the planning and cooking of food in a restaurant or catering facility.

To be eligible for this role

• At least 1 - 2 years of experience as a Chef or similar Kitchen experience.

• Relevant Qualifications related to commercial cookery and hospitality management.

• Experience working in an Indian restaurant.

• Ability to commute to the workplace.
