At House Mum, we support busy families by being the extra pair of hands that keeps their household running smoothly. We are not a standard cleaning company. Our team of Home Assistants are trusted, valued members of our clients' lives, and we are looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in the homes they care for.

This role is for you if you:

• Are a Mum (or have that same nurturing instinct) who wants fulfilling work that fits around your family
• Take pride in a beautifully run home and have a natural eye for detail
• Love the idea of being the person a busy family relies on
• Are warm, trustworthy, and take initiative without needing to be asked

This role is NOT for you if:

• You are looking for a standard cleaning position with set tasks and nothing more
• You prefer to work independently without building relationships with clients

What a day as a House Mum Home Assistant looks like

You will work across one to two homes per day, following a tailored checklist that reflects each family's priorities. Every home and every day is a little different.

Your role can include household management tasks such as:

• Meal prep and kitchen organisation
• Laundry, ironing and linen changes
• Tidying, decluttering and organisation
• Unpacking groceries and restocking essentials
• General cleaning and presentation of the home

We also love going above and beyond. Small touches make a big difference:

• Folding back blankets and laying out pyjamas when a family mentions a late night ahead
• Presenting fresh towels beautifully when guests are expected
• Quietly replenishing products you notice are running low

What you will receive as part of the House Mum team

• $34 per hour plus superannuation
• Choose two, three, four or five days around your life.
• A complete starter kit with everything you need from day one
• A warm, supportive team
