Metal Fabricator

Join our expanding team in High Wycombe, Perth where no day is the same and you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of different duties in Metal Fabrication. Working within our Trailer Repairs Division, we’ll train you on all duties that you’d like to learn.

Day to day you will be:

• Undertaking fabrication, welding, fittings and replacing parts
• Undertaking fabrication, welding, fittings and replacing parts
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
• Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding
• Using your attention to detail to ensure your work is of good quality

Our requirements for the role are:

• Minimum 3 years of Fabrication and welding experience; (2nd class welding experience or equivalent)
• And/Or a Trade Certificate in Metal Fabrication
• Attention to detail and able to provide high quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving abilities
