Junior Stores Person – Full-Time

Great opportunity for a school leaver or someone starting their career

We are a small, friendly company looking for a Junior Stores Person to join our team. This is an entry-level position and would ideally suit a school leaver or someone with limited work experience who is reliable, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

No previous stores or warehouse experience is necessary. Full on-the-job training will be provided, with day-to-day support and supervision from senior staff.

About the Role

You will assist with the day-to-day operation of our stores and warehouse, including:

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Receiving and checking incoming goods

• Unpacking and putting stock away

• Preparing goods for dispatch

• Loading and unloading company vehicles

• Assisting with stock counts and stock control

• Labelling and organising stock

• Keeping the warehouse and stores areas clean, tidy and organised

• General housekeeping duties

• Assisting other team members as required

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and has a good attitude

• Is keen to learn and develop new skills

• Is comfortable with hands-on, practical work

• Can follow instructions and work as part of a small team

• Takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised

• Has good attention to detail

• Is willing to help out wherever needed

• Is physically capable of undertaking normal warehouse and stores duties

A current driver's licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.
