Wood Machinist – Commercial Furniture Manufacturing

Have you had some Wood Machining experience? Maybe you're currently working in a cabinet making, kitchen manufacturing or commercial joinery workshop and looking for your next opportunity?

We're an Australian commercial furniture manufacturer with a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Fairfield, and we're looking for a person with some wood machining experience to join our growing team.

Working on a diverse range of commercial furniture projects, you'll have the chance to operate CNC woodworking machinery to produce high-quality furniture for corporate offices, education, government and commercial fit-outs.

About the Role

As part of our manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for operating modern woodworking machinery to ensure precision, quality and efficiency across a wide variety of custom furniture projects.

Experience with equipment such as the following would be highly regarded:

• Weeke
• Homag
• Biesse
• IMA
• CNC Point-to-Point machinery
• Similar CNC woodworking equipment

About You

You may currently be:

• A Wood Machinist in a cabinet making workshop
• Working for a kitchen or wardrobe manufacturer
• Manufacturing commercial joinery or bespoke furniture
• Operating CNC woodworking machinery and looking for a new challenge

You'll ideally have:

• Some experience operating CNC woodworking machinery
• The ability to read production drawings and cutting lists
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• A commitment to working safely and as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and continue developing your skills

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
