About the Personal Care Worker -Traineeship

• Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week in an aged care setting over 12 months
• On the job learning
• Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) through TLC Learning
• Secure ongoing employment opportunities within TLC Aged Care homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, hygiene, grooming and oral care
• Assist with meals, mobility and daily living activities
• Support lifestyle and wellbeing programs
• Monitor, document and report changes in residents’ condition
• Maintain accurate care records
• Promote residents’ dignity, choice and independence
• Follow Aged Care Quality Standards, infection control practices and TLC policies
