Internal Sales Representative

We are a family-owned industrial automation business with a strong reputation across Australia.  Our product range includes, but not limited to Linear Guideways, Ball Screws, Bearing Support Units, Cross Roller Bearings, Lubricants, Electric Linear Actuators, Precision Gearboxes, Servo Motors and Drives.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales professional to join the team in a full-time, permanent capacity based in Cheltenham, VIC. This is a varied role where you'll manage customer relationships, handle sales enquiries, and provide important support across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

●       Handle inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing prompt and professional sales support

●       Prepare accurate quotations and process sales orders efficiently

●       Proactively follow up on quotations and convert sales opportunities

●       Respond to online sales enquiries

●       Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers and suppliers

●       Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and service records

●       Assist with scheduling, purchasing, and ordering of parts

●       Develop knowledge of the technical product range to better support customers

●       Some general warehouse duties including picking/packing and freight bookings

What We're Looking For

●       Previous experience in internal sales or customer service (highly regarded)

●       Strong written and verbal English communication skills

●       Professional, confident telephone manner with a genuine customer-first approach

●       Demonstrated ability to follow up quotations and close sales

●       A collaborative team player comfortable working across multiple departments

●       Self-motivated, able to take initiative and handle new situations independently

●       Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail

●       Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and knowledge of Odoo is an advantage

●       Forklift licence would be beneficial
