Pre Delivery & Stock Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller and Operations Coordinator who can bring order, accuracy and momentum to our vehicle preparation and stock management processes. You will be the person who keeps everything moving: vehicles, information, suppliers, workshop jobs and delivery timelines.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role working with sales, workshop, detailers, suppliers and administration. Your coordination skills directly influence customer satisfaction, stock accuracy and dealership performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire vehicle preparation workflow from trade-in to display

• Coordinate workshop repairs, detailing, inspections and supplier work

• Track vehicle progress, resolve delays and maintain accurate records

• Reconcile stock, investigate discrepancies and maintain compliance

• Manage incoming vehicles, arrival dates and sold-vehicle preparation

• Produce stock reports and support management with inventory insights

• Coordinate servicing, repairs, diagnostics, roadworthy inspections and tyre services

• Work with parts suppliers to obtain pricing, track orders and manage deliveries

• Maintain parts records, returns, credits and warranty documentation

• Allocate labour, supervise despatch and maintain daily workflow efficiency

About you

• Automotive or dealership stock control experience

• Strong coordination, scheduling and organisational skills

• Confident communicator across multiple departments

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage competing deadlines

• Experience with suppliers, purchase orders or multi-stage projects

• Proficiency with dealership systems and inventory processes

• Current Australian driver's licence
