About the role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and strong team performance. This is a leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the store team to deliver outstanding customer service

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the store is clean, organised and fully stocked

• Manage staff rosters, attendance and daily task allocation

• Recruit, train and develop team members

• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback

• Ensure shelves are re-stocked and merchandise is presented to a high standard

• Manage inventory, stock ordering, stock rotation (FIFO), and stocktake processes

• Minimise stock loss through effective inventory control

• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and resolve issues professionally

• Monitor store sales and identify opportunities to improve performance

• Manage 1 on 1's with staff

• Facilitate team meetings

About you

• 1–3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role

• Previous retail management experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks

• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills

• Confidence using POS systems and basic computer software

• Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required
