What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant who is highly analytical, detail-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring at least 2 years’ management accounting experience, ideally within retail or FMCG, strong Excel and numerical skills, and the ability to confidently work across multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Just as importantly, you’ll be a strong communicator who can build relationships across the business, challenge the numbers, solve problems and take ownership from insight through to action!

Your Key Functions Will Include:

• Provision of accurate and timely reporting of monthly management accounts and analysis to support business decision making

• Accuracy of monthly reports to be issued with zero errors

• Ensure accurate invoicing in AP21 of intercompany charges across entities as required, according to the EOM timeline

• Prepare monthly rent and outgoings payments

• Oversee and manage all landlord leases, invoicing and payment enquiries

• Complete out-of-cycle payment runs

• Partner with key stakeholders to produce and present the annual budgets and forward projections

• Assist with the annual audit

• Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

What You’ll Bring:

• At least 2 years’ experience in management accounting in a Retail/FCCG environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong numerical skills

• Intermediate Excel skills, Advanced preferred

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• An understanding of banking systems and processes

• Ability to build both internal and external relationships

• Ability to work to tight deadlines, set priorities and manage within limited resources

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
