Job description - Events Support Officer - Graduate
As a Events Support Officer - Graduate based in Melbourne, you'll join a fast-paced, high-performing team of five, delivering around 120 events a year, from 600-person conferences through to smaller morning teas and online events. This is a hands-on, support-based role to start, giving you the chance to learn how the team operates before stepping into coordinating your own events over the next 12-18 months.
 
This is perfect for a graduate or junior who has a "can-do" mindset and wants to build a long-term career in events.
 
Job responsibilities - Events Support Officer - Graduate
In this Events Support Officer - Graduate role based in Melbourne a typical week may include:

• Managing general event enquiries and providing first-class support to attendees
• Assisting with on-the-day event logistics
• Shadowing team members across live events to learn the full events process
• Supporting the team across multiple event set-up and planning
• Building relationships with internal stakeholders, from team members through to senior leaders
• Gradually taking on more ownership as your skills and confidence grow

• No formal events qualification required, looking for junior and gradates from a range of backgrounds with a genuine interest in events
• A can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck into 
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A curious, solutions-focused mindset

• Competitive graduate salary: $75,000 - $80,000 + super
