Implementation Capability Lead

Build a function. Develop leaders. Shape how delivery scales.

This isn't a traditional Implementation Manager role.

We are looking for someone who wants to build and mature an implementation capability—not simply inherit a team and keep delivery running.

As the Implementation Capability Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping how the Professional Services function evolves. You'll lead a team of Implementation Consultants while driving the capability, governance and operational maturity that enable consistent, scalable customer delivery.

You'll partner closely with Delivery Managers and senior leadership to strengthen delivery capability, develop future leaders and create the operating rhythms that support a growing SaaS business.

What you'll be doing

You'll:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Implementation Consultants, building a high-performing and accountable culture.
• Improve delivery capability through better governance, standards, knowledge sharing and repeatable ways of working.
• Design and embed scalable delivery practices that improve consistency, quality and predictability across customer implementations.
• Drive workforce planning, utilisation and resource coordination across multiple customer engagements.
• Partner with Delivery Managers to improve delivery performance, planning and commercial outcomes.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including AI adoption, operational efficiencies and delivery maturity.
• Help shape the future direction of the Implementation function as the business continues to grow.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced delivery leader who has progressed from implementation or consulting into broader capability leadership.

You'll likely bring experience from:

• Professional Services or consulting organisations.
• SaaS implementation or customer delivery environments.
• Technology or digital transformation businesses.
• Or another environment where you've successfully built delivery capability and led organisational change.

You'll have demonstrated experience:

• Leading implementation, consulting or delivery teams.
• Building and improving delivery capability—not simply managing an existing function.
• Introducing governance, operating models, delivery frameworks or repeatable ways of working.
• Developing leaders and coaching high-performing consulting or technical teams.
• Driving workforce planning, utilisation, delivery quality and operational performance.
• Influencing senior stakeholders and leading change across growing organisations.

This isn't a heavily hands-on technical role, but you'll have enough implementation or Professional Services experience to build credibility with delivery teams and understand the realities of complex customer implementations.
