About the Role

As a Works Ready Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing and coordinating network projects that keep communities connected, based at our Pakenham depot.

Working closely with field crews, customers, and network providers, you'll ensure work is planned safely, efficiently, and ready for delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on industry experience who enjoys problem-solving, coordination, and making a real impact behind the scenes.

• Provide regulatory advice to third parties regarding Electrical Assets Regulations for construction and utility infrastructure projects
• Schedule and submit applications for low- and high-voltage isolations and shutdowns, ensuring customer deadlines are met and works are completed on time
• Prepare detailed work packs, drawings, permits and project documentation, ensuring field crews and customers have everything they need to deliver work safely and efficiently
• Engage with external parties to address regulatory breaches and provide constructive guidance to facilitate resolution
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, systems and workflows

About You

• Certificate III in ESI – Power or similar qualification and current Australian Driver's Licence
• Hands-on knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling, and operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networks
• A solid understanding of electrical network operational standards, with Victorian network and VESI requirements
• Strong HSEQ knowledge and a practical approach to safe maintenance planning and delivery
• Experience preparing and lodging switching sheets
• Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), with SAP and other planning/scheduling system experience (highly regarded)
