We're looking for an experienced and motivated Estimator / Contracts Administrator to join our team and play a key role in winning and delivering projects.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for preparing estimates, managing tender submissions and providing contract administration support throughout the life of projects.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Tendering

• Complete quantity take-offs from plans and specifications

• Prepare accurate and profitable quotations

• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements

• Price materials, labour, subcontractors and plant

• Prepare tender submissions and supporting documentation

• Manage variations and revised pricing requests

• Maintain supplier pricing and subcontractor databases

• Follow up quotations and assist with securing new work

• Identify commercial risks and opportunities

Contract Administration

• Review contracts and tender documentation

• Assist with project set-up and administration

• Track and manage variations and scope changes

• Maintain project documentation and registers

• Monitor project costs and commercial performance

• Liaise with builders, suppliers and subcontractors

• Support project delivery teams throughout construction

About You
Essential

• Experience estimating construction projects

• Ability to read plans and perform take-offs

• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

• Excellent clear communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

• Positive, team-oriented attitude

Highly Regarded

• Roofing or cladding industry experience

• Trade background

• Experience with BuildXact or similar estimating software

• Contract administration experience

• Construction industry experience
