Certificate III in Carpentry Trainer & Assessor (Weekend Contractor)

Rate: $60–$70 per hour + GST (depending on teaching experience)

Perth College of Business & Technology (PCBT) is seeking an experienced and passionate Carpentry Trainer & Assessor to deliver the CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry to domestic and international students.

This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional looking to share their knowledge and help develop the next generation of qualified carpenters in a supportive vocational education environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging theory and practical training in Certificate III in Carpentry.

• Conducting competency-based assessments in accordance with training package requirements.

• Supporting students throughout their learning journey.

• Maintaining accurate training and assessment records.

• Ensuring compliance with ASQA Standards, RTO requirements and workplace health and safety obligations.

Applicants must hold:

• A current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or successor qualification).

• A current CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry (or an equivalent recognised qualification).

• A current RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights licence.

• Demonstrated current industry experience in carpentry.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Full Australian working rights.

• Contractor engagement at $60–$70 per hour + GST.

• Weekend-only work (Saturdays and Sundays).

• Modern training facilities and practical workshops.
