Details: Transport Canberra (TC) is seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead strategic improvement initiatives across a complex and dynamic operational environment. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of public transport services in the ACT by championing operational excellence, business transformation, data-informed decision making and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Executive Branch Manager, Planning and Delivery, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively across Transport Canberra to identify opportunities, redesign business processes and deliver sustainable improvements that enhance performance, efficiency and customer outcomes.
The successful applicant will bring strong leadership capability, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and demonstrated experience leading change and business improvement programs in a large and complex organisation.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 29 August 2026 to 27 November 2026. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position is situated in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT.
