About the role:

Lead the Conduct and Regulatory legal team and provide practical, commercially sound advice across complex legal and regulatory issues.

You will work across:

• People and conduct related matters involving staff and students.
• Regulatory and compliance advice within a highly regulated environment.
• Dispute resolution, including litigation, mediation, arbitration and tribunal matters.
• Requests for information, including privacy, subpoenas and GIPA-related matters.
• Commercial contracts supporting education, collaboration and offshore initiatives.
• Legal operations, triage, reporting and practice management improvements.

The ideal candidate:

• Have at least 15+ years’ post-admission experience.
• Strong in-house, regulatory, employment, disputes or higher education legal experience.
• Confident advising senior stakeholders in a complex organisation.
• Strong judgement, drafting, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to balance legal risk with practical, commercial outcomes.
