About Us
Polymetals (ASX: POL) acquired the Endeavor Mine in 2023 and formally took control in August 2024. Endeavor is a major underground silver/lead/zinc mine, located 40km north-west of Cobar in Central-West NSW. Since then, Polymetals has delivered an initial 10-year mine plan, secured a US $20million (A$30million) loan facility, have restarted mining operations in early 2025 and begun 24/7 concentrate production. It's an exciting time for Endeavor and the Cobar region, with significant employment opportunities now coming to market for the Endeavor Mine restart: one of Australia's major base metals mines.

The Role
Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, the Mine Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of underground mining activities. You will act as the link between the mine plan, projects and shift-by-shift delivery, making sure work is executed safely, in the right sequence and at the lowest possible cost through better use of people and equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Hold and use a NSW Supervisory Certificate to conduct statutory inspections and ensure activities comply with the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act.
• Lead by example in caring for people through field interactions and safety audits.
• Review risk assessments for high-risk tasks and confirm controls are understood and working.
• Assist with investigations and make sure lessons learnt are built into future work plans.
• Support scheduling activities from Technical Services and the Shift Supervisors.
• Coordinate equipment and personnel movements so mining activities are executed in the correct sequence.
• Monitor production cycles to find bottlenecks and put corrective actions in place.
• Liaise between Technical Services and the production crews to ensure design compliance.
• Drive lowest cost execution by reducing waste in explosives, ground support and fuel.
• Work closely with Maintenance to improve equipment availability and utilisation.
• Monitor contractor performance against budget and scope.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the Mine Shift Supervisors, with no direct reports.
• Support the Mine Superintendent in manning up the roster so the right skills are available for planned work.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A minimum of 15 years' experience in underground hard rock mines.
• A minimum of 5 years as a front-line supervisor and/or senior engineer, preferably underground.
• A NSW Supervisor of Underground Mines Other Than Coal Mines certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
• A valid NSW Explosives Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Hold a Cert IV in Underground Metalliferous Mining Operations, or an Cert IV in Leadership and Management, or equivalent
• Strong communication, presentation, coaching and mentoring skills.
• The ability to run investigations, manage projects and prioritise against a schedule.
• Experience in emergency and incident management.
• A valid Australian driver's licence and the ability to work independently within a defined scope.
