Your New RoleWe're seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Product & Insurance Practice, where you'll play a key role in the development, management, and governance of Aware Super's product suite. This role is responsible for shaping and managing products across superannuation and managed investment schemes, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and aligned to member and business needs. You'll work across product strategy, governance, regulatory compliance, product development, and stakeholder engagement to deliver exceptional member outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that support member and business objectivesManage and enhance superannuation and investment products throughout their lifecycleEnsure product governance frameworks, policies, and product specifications remain current and effectiveProvide expert advice on product legislation, regulation, and market developmentsLead product governance activities, including product reviews, member outcomes assessments, and compliance obligationsPartner with stakeholders across Investments, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Member Growth, and Advice functionsUse market, competitor, and member insights to identify opportunities to improve product offeringsSupport regulatory change initiatives and ensure products remain compliant with evolving legislation and industry requirements.
How do you exceed our expectations?Experience in product management, product governance, or product development within financial servicesStrong knowledge of superannuation and/or managed investment schemesBroad financial services experience across wealth management, investments, superannuation, banking, or asset managementUnderstanding of regulatory obligations including DDO, product governance, and consumer protection frameworksStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesRG146 qualifications and relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
