We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Sydney.
About the Role
Assist in managing the general ledger, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.Credit card reconciliations and reimbursing employee expenses incurred for work-related purposes on time.Prepare and process payment runs within the timeframe.Assist in the preparation of the monthly JV recharge.Maintain accurate transactional records, perform binding and document organisation tasks, and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.Create vendor codes in SAP, as well as register and manage bank details for both, in compliance with internal policies.Assist in preparing the annual budget and developing monthly budget forecasts.Assist with GST reconciliations and internal/external audit, and compliance review.Preparing ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required.Provide general accounting and clerical support to the Accounting & Finance department.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldPrevious experience with large ERP system (eg. SAP, JD Edward) (preferred not mandatory).Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.Excellent oral and writing communication skills.High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
