About the roleDGL Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations at our Derrimut manufacturing site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the Warehouse, Dispatch, Receiving and Inventory teams, ensuring outstanding customer service, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and DIFOT performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong operational, people management and inventory experience to drive safety, service excellence, continuous improvement, and cost-effective warehouse operations while fostering a high-performing team culture.
Key responsibilities & dutiesLead and manage the Warehouse, Dispatch, Receiving and Inventory teams.
Foster a strong safety culture through risk management and compliance with WHS and Dangerous Goods requirements.
Ensure DIFOT, inventory accuracy and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
Monitor warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maximise warehouse efficiency, productivity and space utilisation.
Manage warehouse labor and equipment resources to meet customer demand.
Oversee inventory control, stock takes, cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
Ensure the safe storage and handling of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
Manage logistics providers, freight procurement and warehouse operating costs.
Oversee CHEP and Loscam pallet accounts and transfers.
Ensure site compliance with company procedures, ERP requirements and Agsafe accreditation.
Maintain operational readiness by ensuring staff licences, certifications and training are current.
Coach, mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing workforce.
Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service and operational outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, service and cost performance across the site.
Proven experience managing warehouse and logistics operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Experience in inventory management, warehouse KPIs and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods storage and handling requirements (highly regarded).
Experience within manufacturing, chemical or 3PL environments.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
