About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a biosecurity professional to take a leading role in managing invasive species projects, supporting compliance activities and working closely with landholders, government agencies and industry stakeholders to deliver impactful biosecurity outcomes.
About the Role
As a Senior Biosecurity Officer, you will deliver and coordinate a range of animal and plant biosecurity programs, compliance activities and emergency management functions that support regional and state biosecurity priorities. You'll work across a diverse landscape, helping prevent, detect and respond to biosecurity threats while building the capability of stakeholders and team members alike.

You're an experienced biosecurity professional who enjoys leading projects, mentoring others and working collaboratively with landholders, industry and government stakeholders to address complex biosecurity challenges. You bring strong operational experience, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering practical outcomes for communities and the environment. You actively contribute to a positive workplace culture by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative, respectful and inclusive team environment.
