Assistant Project Manager – Melbourne, VIC

At Essence Project Management, we’re seeking a skilled, motivated, and organised Assistant Project Manager with the initiative and professionalism to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or similar with a demonstrated 1-3 years’ experience in the project and development management space.

You will have strong experience working with teams and will bring consistent, high-quality delivery of project outcomes and exceptional experiences for every stakeholder. You’ll bring your project management skills and experiences, joining our growing Melbourne team to across several sectors, delivering great results through teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

The Opportunity

• Support in project delivery — managing scope, budgets, schedules, and risk.
• Contribute to design coordination, stakeholder engagement, and contract performance.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and governance standards are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track.

• A relevant qualification in project management, construction, property or a related field.
