About the role
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role working across a variety of boat repair, maintenance and fit-out projects. We’re open to candidates with Shipwright / marine experience or transferable skills from industries such as spray painting, automotive repair, fibreglass work, cabinet making or similar trades.

MW Marine is one of Australia’s most trusted luxury boat brokerages, representing Jeanneau, Prestige, Wellcraft and Four Winns. Alongside our sales division, our dedicated Service Team supports a steady pipeline of high-quality repair, fit-out and finishing work.
What You’ll Do:
Fibreglass (FRP) structural and cosmetic repairs
2-pack paint preparation and finishing
Installation of onboard equipment and accessories
Minor 12v component replacements
Cutting and fitting instruments
Interior timber/joinery repairs
Through hull fitting installation and replacements
Factory & vocational training
Enjoy solving problems
Pre-delivery of new vessels
Vessel restoration
Some interstate travel
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in a hands-on trade (Shipwright, marine, automotive, spray painting, composites, cabinetry or similar)
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively
A safety-first mindset
Own tools
Current driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites
Have the right to work in Australia
Desirable (But Not Essential):
Experience working on boats
Boat licence
Forklift licence
