About the Role:
The Secondary School History teacher role(s) call for a passionate and innovative educator to teach Years 7-12, delivering engaging and differentiated learning experiences. The School is looking to cover multiple leave cover roles, with the successful candidates having an opportunity to inspire students, support departmental goals, and contribute to a collaborative school culture that values reflective practice and lifelong learning.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A genuine enthusiasm for educating and inspiring students across Years 7-12.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum content and the ability to tailor learning to diverse student needs.
• Clear, constructive communication with students, parents, and staff, fostering trust and engagement.
• An ability to work closely with colleagues, students, and families to support a positive learning environment.
• Foster a student centred learning environment with high expectations.
• Attentive to pastoral care needs and proactive in supporting student development.

• Qualified, NESA registered teacher with WWCC.
• Proven expertise in curriculum planning, assessment, and data driven teaching.
• Outstanding communication, mentorship, and team building skills.
• A strategic mindset to inspire innovation and continuous improvement.
• Confident in integrating digital tools into teaching and learning programs.
• Commitment to pastoral care, student engagement, and wellbeing.
