About the role
Who is Windermere?
We are an independent community service organisation working across the Southeast of Victoria to help those who need it most. Our unique range of services include; Communities for Children, Family Health & Wellbeing, Childhood Development, Education & Support, Early Intervention Therapy Services, NDIS Support Coordination and Plan Management, Homelessness Support, Counselling Services, assistance to support victims of trauma, assault and violent crimes and Recovery Support Services.
We are recruiting an OSHC Coordinator / Area Manager, to cover our valued team member during their parental leave This is a Part-Time role (34 hours per week) contracted until 10 September 2027.
The hours would be;
Monday: 6:30am -11:30am & 3:30pm-6:30pm
Tuesday: 10am-6pm
Wednesday: 6:30am - 9:00am & 3:30pm-6:30pm
Thursday: 10am-6pm
Friday: 6:30am - 9:00am & 3:30pm-6:30pm
Who are we are looking for?
We are seeking a committed and motivated early childhood professional to join our Out of Hours Care (OSHC) program to lead and support our services in the South East/Gippsland. You will work flexibly between our office in Pakenham, onsite at schools and from home as agreed. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a team of high performers in a supportive organisation like no other.

This is a fixed term, part-time role at $40 per hour plus broken shift allowance + Super + Salary Packaging*
*As Windermere is a not-for-profit organisation, employees are able to claim everyday living expenses up to $15,900 against their annual Pre-Tax Salary. Key Selection Criteria
ACECQA approved qualification (Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood and above) for Educators working with over preschool aged children;
Please see ACECQA website as this list includes qualifications such as teaching, Social Science, Physical Education, Youth Studies and more
Current Victorian Working with Children’s Check, HLTAID012 First Aid, including CPR and anaphylaxis and asthma management certificate
Previous experience working in Leadership and/or mentoring role in an OSHC or Early Childhood setting
Demonstrated experience in working within the National Quality Framework and implementing processes that support service compliance with the National Law and Regulations
Extensive administrative and/or marketing experience and the ability to develop newsletters and or communications ability and understanding of developing positive relationships with children and families
Strong relationship management skills
Willingness to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
Current Victorian Drivers’ Licence
Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks - including Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical and Working with Children's check
Right to Work in Australia e.g. Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa holder with full working rights
