About the Role

As a Polywelder, you will be responsible for:

• HDPE butt welding from 63mm to 900mm

• Electrofusion welding of HDPE pipe joints

• Completing weld registers and HDPE parameter cards

• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting faults

• Operating plant and equipment safely

• Working closely with Site Supervisors to maintain a strong safety-first culture

• Adhering to BMR’s HSEQ policies and procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience working as a Polywelder

• HDPE Liner experience desireable

• Valid Butt & Electrofusion certifications (RTO approved, within 2 years)

• Trade Plumber background highly regarded

• Telehandler ticket

• Minimum C Class license - HR preferred

• Construction White Card

• Chainsaw certification

• IT - C2/C6 - Excavator - Rigging tickets

• Experience operating McElroy and Dixon welders

• National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)

• RTIO/BHP/FMG Inducted (desirable)

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & DAS
