Night Common Area Cleaner

Acan Group is currently seeking a Part Time Night Common Area Cleaner to join our team in Melbourne CBD.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, well-presented environments and enjoys working within a professional hospitality setting. This role involves servicing high-end hotel spaces, ensuring all common areas are kept to the highest standard for guests and visitors.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining hotel public areas to a consistently high standard. You'll play a key part in ensuring guests experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, lifts, and common restrooms

• Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish all surfaces

• Clean glass, mirrors, and other high-touch areas

• Empty bins and manage waste appropriately

• Replenish consumables such as hand towels, soap, and sanitiser

• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly

About You

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.

• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

• Able to work independently and within a team

• Physically fit and capable of manual work

• We have shifts available at night start at 11pm (8 hours shift a day) . Applicants should be flexible to work one or more days.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential

• Hotel or hospitality cleaning experience is highly preferred
