Assistant Manager | Store Person

Exciting opportunity for an assistant manager or experienced retail/sales member to help lead a dynamic team at our Beaumaris store.

At Priceline Pharmacy Beaumaris (Ocean Reef), we are dedicated to providing exceptional customer care and professional pharmaceutical services. Our pharmacy offers a wide range of health and wellness products, and we strive to create an environment where our customers feel valued and supported. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Retail Manager to help deliver the highest standards of service.

The position will be offered on a Monday to Friday roster: 9:00am - 6:00pm. No weekends / Nights!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth, efficient service & encourages an inspirational shopping experience encouraging customers to return.

• Help manage and lead the retail team alongside our Retail Manager, providing coaching and training to enhance performance.

• Be present on the shop floor and lead by example.

• Ensure all products are stocked, organized, and properly displayed.

• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

• Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues with professionalism.

• Constantly searching for new insights that will assist to grow the team & the store.

• Manage inventory / integrity and ordering of products, keeping track of stock levels.

• Understanding the learning opportunities available to your team and providing them with time to complete training to support their on-going development.

• Ensure all team members understand the Sister Club program and follow the correct procedures for new & existing members

Skills and Experience:

• Previous retail experience

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.

• Infectious energy and drive.

• Keen attention to details.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable with spending less time behind a counter and more time with customers.
