Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused hospitality crew member to join our fast-casual restaurant team. Deep South Chicken is known for its delicious, crave-able food and welcoming atmosphere, and we are looking for an individual who embodies the spirit of Southern hospitality to help us create a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel like they are part of our family

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all guest requests and dietary needs are met

• Prepare and cook food items according to our recipes and procedures, ensuring that they meet our high-quality standards

• Serve food and beverages promptly and with a smile, providing excellent customer service throughout the entire dining experience

• Maintain a clean and organised dining area, ensuring that all tables are cleared and cleaned promptly after guests depart

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge of our menu and service standards

• Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, working with the team to find solutions that exceed guest expectations

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure that our restaurant meets or exceeds health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Experience preferred but not required in a fast-paced hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a fast casual restaurant environment

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members

• A positive and upbeat attitude, with a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining area & kitchen area

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
