The Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing/ staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and nursing and or midwifery excellence at unit/ward level.

Ideal Candidate 

• Current unencumbered Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Extensive post registration experience in a relevant clinical area with clinical management experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.

• Preferred experience working in a forensic mental health, secure, or correctional health setting, with an understanding of the legal, ethical, and operational requirements of such environments.
