About the role
About the role
This is a hands-on program leadership role at the centre of the client's data and analytics agenda — bringing a portfolio of in-flight and planned projects together into one coherent, outcome-driven program. You will be accountable for building and running an integrated program view that connects every project's delivery plan to the business outcome it exists to produce, with measurable KPIs baselined at current state and tracked through to target state.
Key responsibilities
Build and own the integrated program plan — consolidating individual project schedules, dependencies, resourcing and risks into a single view of the enterprise data program.
Define the outcome and benefit for every project in the program, articulated in business language and agreed with the accountable business owner.
Establish the KPI framework — baseline the current-state measures, define target state, set the measurement method and cadence, and report movement over time rather than at the end.
Track delivery and outcomes side by side, so milestone progress and benefit realisation are visible in the same conversation.
Manage cross-project dependencies, sequencing and critical path across data platform, governance, analytics and reporting workstreams.
Run program governance — steering committee reporting, escalation, change control, financial tracking and forecasting against budget.
Engage senior stakeholders across clinical, operational, technology and data functions; translate between technical delivery detail and executive decision-making.
Drive vendor and partner delivery where third parties are contributing to the program.
Identify and surface where projects are on schedule but are misaligned to business outcomes, and lead the conversation about what to change.
About you
Minimum 5 years' experience at program management level (not project management level), running multi-project programs to time, cost and quality.
Formal program or project management qualification — PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PgMP, AgilePM or equivalent.
Demonstrable track record delivering data and analytics programs at enterprise scale.
Genuine outcomes focus — you define success in business terms, baseline it, measure it and report on it, and you hold projects to it.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and credibility to work with C-level and senior clinical stakeholders.
Strong commercial and financial management discipline across a program budget.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to a program that is still forming.
You should be able to hold a credible conversation with specialists across the breadth of a modern data program — you don't need to be the practitioner, but you do need to know how the pieces fit together and what good looks like in each: Data Strategy, Data Foundations, Analytics & Insights, Customer Data, Data Governance, BI & Reporting, and AI.
