AHP1

Join our supportive multidisciplinary Mental Health team as an Occupational Therapist, where you'll deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused care across diverse settings while building your skills through mentorship, professional development, and meaningful clinical experience.

• Qualifications: Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, maintaining all ongoing registration requirements.
• Deliver high-quality care: Provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented occupational therapy services, including assessment, intervention, health promotion and care planning, to support consumers and their families.
• Collaborate and communicate: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and partner with consumers, carers and external agencies to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
• Grow professionally: Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, reflective practice and quality improvement activities, with opportunities to support students and less experienced staff.
• Maintain quality and safety: Manage a clinical caseload, complete accurate clinical documentation, comply with organisational policies and contribute to service improvement and accreditation activities.

• Qualifications & Registration: Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and current registration (or eligibility for registration) as an Occupational Therapist in Australia, maintaining all ongoing registration requirements.
• Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based, recovery-oriented occupational therapy assessment, intervention and care planning for consumers with mental illness within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Communication & Collaboration: Proven ability to build effective relationships with consumers, carers, colleagues and external agencies, contributing positively to multidisciplinary teamwork and coordinated care.
• Professional Knowledge & Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, reflective practice and maintaining contemporary knowledge of mental health practice, legislation and occupational therapy.
• Organisation & Clinical Governance: Ability to manage a clinical caseload, prioritise workload, maintain accurate documentation and comply with organisational policies, quality standards and clinical governance requirements.
• Quality Improvement & Leadership: Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, service development, research and quality activities, with the ability to provide guidance, supervision or support to students and less experienced staff as appropriate.
