NCS is seeking a Responsible AI Governance Specialist to join our Data & AI Consulting & Transformation practice, supporting enterprise clients in establishing trusted, compliant, and scalable AI governance capabilities.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, risk, governance, cyber security, data, legal and compliance. You will partner with client stakeholders to design and embed Responsible AI processes, controls and operating models that support both innovation and risk management. You will play a key role in operationalising Responsible AI frameworks by integrating AI governance into Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), establishing AI assurance and testing processes, implementing Agentic AI monitoring frameworks, and creating sustainable governance practices across the AI lifecycle.
A key aspect of the role will be to assess Responsible AI maturity, define target-state governance capabilities, and build practical implementation roadmaps that support safe and trustworthy adoption of AI technologies across the enterprise.
This role is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Responsible AI governance framework that integrates with enterprise risk management practices. The position oversees AI risk management, governance processes, policies, controls, and assurance activities across the entire AI lifecycle, from ideation and development through deployment, monitoring, and retirement. Key responsibilities include establishing AI risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, inventory management, use case classification, risk tiering, compliance monitoring, audit readiness, and regulatory alignment. The role also leads the design and operationalisation of AI Red Teaming and adversarial testing programs to assess risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, hallucinations, model manipulation, harmful content generation, and autonomous decision-making failures in Generative and Agentic AI systems. Additionally, it develops governance and observability frameworks to monitor AI and Agentic AI behaviour, ensure decision traceability, manage policy compliance, and support risk reporting to executive stakeholders. The position is responsible for creating Responsible AI policies, standards, and operating models, defining ownership and accountability structures, conducting AI maturity assessments, developing transformation roadmaps, and providing strategic advisory support to senior leadership. Working closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Cyber Security, Data, Engineering, and Business teams, the role drives the adoption of sustainable, compliant, and ethical AI practices across the enterprise.
