Join one of Lindsay Transport's largest and busiest metropolitan operations in a key frontline role. As a Gatehouse Officer, you will be responsible for controlling site access, supporting compliance, protecting people and assets, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, freight and visitors.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the safe and efficient entry and exit of drivers, visitors, contractors and vehicles.

• Verify driver, vehicle and asset compliance prior to site access.

• Complete temperature, load and documentation checks accurately.

• Monitor site activity, CCTV and alarms, escalating concerns in accordance with company procedures.

• Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies and security-related events.

• Provide first aid assistance and coordinate emergency services when required.

• Maintain effective communication with drivers, contractors, operational teams and site management.

• Maintain accurate records, reports and gatehouse documentation.

What you’ll bring:

• Current First Aid Certificate (essential).

• Experience in gatehouse operations, transport, logistics, security or a similar operational environment.

• Ability to work a rotating 4 On / 4 Off shift roster.

• Strong attention to detail with accurate record keeping and data entry skills.

• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Professional communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to remain calm, organised and make sound decisions under pressure.
