About the role
Create better Emergency Department experiences by connecting patients, families and carers with compassionate, timely support and communication.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 1 March 2027)
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 5
Remuneration: $41.52 - 42.46 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: Westmead, Auburn, Mount Druitt and Blacktown Hospitals (rotating position)
Where you'll be working
Join Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), where your work will contribute to safer, more welcoming and more inclusive healthcare experiences for diverse communities.
You’ll work closely with Emergency Department clinical and non-clinical teams to strengthen communication, build trust and ensure patients and their support networks feel informed and cared for while awaiting treatment.
What you'll be doing
As Patient Experience Coordinator, you’ll bring empathy, initiative and strong communication skills to improve the experience of people navigating Emergency Department care.
