Positioned in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, our Mount Barker Campus offers a unique and inspiring setting for both teaching and learning. Now in its third year, the campus has grown steadily since its opening and continues to flourish as part of our vibrant school community. In 2026, we expanded our offerings to include Year 5, reflecting our commitment to providing a comprehensive and nurturing educational journey for students in the region.

About the role

We are seeking teachers who have the ability to:

• Build positive, trusting relationships with young children as they transition into school.

• Understand how students learn, and identifies individual needs and learning styles.

• Design and deliver differentiated, engaging and inquiry‑aligned learning programs.

• Apply strong curriculum knowledge alongside innovative, evidence‑informed teaching methods.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, reflect and create high-quality learning experiences.

• Bring warmth, joy and creativity to their classroom, fostering an environment where every child feels seen, heard, known and loved.

Essential Criteria

A personal commitment to King's Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School community is essential to this role.

Teachers at King's must also meet the following requirements:

• A qualified Teacher with a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education or higher.

• Registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.

• Current RRHAN-EC and Working with Children Check (WWCC).

• A passion for early childhood education and a heart for nurturing young learners.
