Console Operator

NightOwl is an Australian owned and operated Franchise and Corporate Store Network who has built a solid reputation in the retail sector for over 50 years. Today we boast 84+ stores, consisting of a combination traditional convenience and convenience petroleum throughout QLD, NSW & WA.

We are currently seeking highly motivated and energetic Team Members to join our Dakabin team.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is always ready to go above and beyond for our customers and colleagues. To hit the ground running, prior retail experience and strong customer service skills are highly valued. However, we’re happy to provide training for the right candidate who brings enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Fuel and retail experience will be highly regarded.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll always have something to do. It involves identifying what needs attention to keep the store running smoothly. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, taking initiative, and contributing to a busy team environment.

To be successful in this role:  

·         Stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented and replenished

·         Greeting every Owl customer with a friendly smile and hello

·         Merchandising according to store guidelines and promotional plans

·         Conduct regular checks of fuel equipment and report any issues

·         Maintaining high retail standards across the store

·         Ensure fuel dispensing is safe and compliant with site procedures

·         Using initiative to identify tasks that need attention

·         Supporting a busy team environment with a proactive approach

·         Delivering excellent customer service through helpful and friendly interactions

·         Assisting with general store upkeep and cleanliness

·         Meeting deadlines and managing time effectively during shifts

You will need to have the relevant working rights, reliable transport and availability to work a range of shifts including daytime, evening, overnight and weekends, in line with the business operational hours.
