We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Greek-speaking Support Worker to join our growing team. The ability to speak Greek is essential for this role, as you will be supporting Greek-speaking clients and helping them communicate comfortably while maintaining their cultural preferences.

About the Role

As a Disability & Aged Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, personalised support to clients in their homes and community. You will assist with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Assist with household tasks and meal preparation
• Support clients with shopping and community participation
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments
• Help clients develop life skills, confidence and independence
• Support clients to build new hobbies and interests
• Work collaboratively with families and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Communicate effectively with clients, including providing support in Greek where required

Essential Requirements

• Fluent in both Greek and English
• Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) or equivalent
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Australian Citizenship, Australian Birth Certificate, or valid Australian work rights
