Apprentice - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (2nd or 3rd Year)

We are currently seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Heavy Diesel Apprentice to join our Cairns workshop. This is a great opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a structured, safety-first environment working on a modern fleet of heavy vehicles.

With a strong focus on providing safe, clean and reliable bus services for our customers, our Fleet Services team plays a critical role in keeping our buses in optimum condition through top quality maintenance and repairs.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with servicing, repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles.
• Supporting diagnostics and fault finding
• Learning preventative maintenance practices
• Working alongside qualified mechanics and supervisors

What boxes you need to tick

• Currently a 2nd or 3rd Year Heavy Diesel Apprentice
• Genuine interest in heavy vehicles and mechanical work
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to obtain your MR class driver's license once of age
