Key Responsibilities:

• Build your clinical confidence while managing a varied caseload of children and adults, with supervision, mentoring and support from experienced clinicians.
• Deliver meaningful assessments, therapy and evidence-informed interventions that support communication, social connection, mealtime skills and everyday participation.
• Work closely with families, carers, educators and other professionals to create practical, strengths-based strategies that make a real difference in daily life.
• Explore assistive and augmentative communication tools, including technology-based supports, to help clients communicate in ways that work best for them.
• Contribute to creative individual and group therapy programs tailored to each client’s goals, strengths and environment.
• Grow within a learning-focused, interdisciplinary team where your ideas, curiosity and reflective practice are encouraged and valued.
• Grow your leadership capability over time by contributing to student support, peer learning and professional knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills:

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and a current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and deliver timely, effective therapy
• Solid understanding of disability services, person-centred practices, and NDIS
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Confident working within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong administrative and time management abilities
• Willingness to travel for client appointments

Desirable Skills:

• Experience providing paediatric disability speech pathology services

Required Compliance Documents:

• National Police Clearance
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Valid Driver’s licence
• Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) certification
