About the role

As our Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll support the Food and Beverage Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You'll be hands-on — leading the floor, motivating your team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. You'll balance service excellence with operational know-how, keeping standards high and the energy higher.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire front-of-house and bar staff to deliver outstanding hospitality

• Oversee service across all areas — bar and restaurant

• Support rostering, stock control, and ordering to meet business targets

• Maintain compliance with RSA, OH&S, and venue safety standards

• Drive a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

• Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care

• Assist with functions, events, and venue promotions

About you

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in hospitality

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• A hands-on approach and ability to stay calm under pressure

• Great attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction

• Availability to work nights and weekends

• Current RSA
