Store & Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Store & Logistics Supervisor to take full ownership of our store operations, container fleet tracking, and spare parts inventory.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for leading a small team, managing stock and logistics, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the store and gatehouse.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a medium-sized store while recording all container and equipment movements. This role offers a balance of leadership, logistics coordination, purchasing and hands-on operational work.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day store operations (purchasing, receiving, storage, dispatch)

· Maintain accurate inventory, including cycle counts and stock control

· Purchase stock and source special items as required

· Record and manage all sea container and equipment movements

· Lead and coordinate a small team of part-time staff

· Prepare and manage daily run sheets

· Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

· Ensure a safe and compliant work environment

· Drive continuous improvement across store and l logistics processes

· Perform manual handling and general operational duties as required

About You

· Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, and p purchasing

· Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehousing and logistics operations

· Strong inventory management and organisational skills

· Experience leading or supervising a small team

· Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in team leadership or supervisory roles

· High level of accountability and attention to detail

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Confident using ERP systems (Pronto experience highly regarded)

· Experience with Pronto ERP system preferred, although proficiency in alternative ERP systems will be considered

· Experience with any ERP system required

· Able to work in a hands-on role with regular manual tasks
