Trainee Sales Consultant

Melville MG has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to begin their automotive sales career as a Trainee Sales Consultant, specializing in Geely vehicles.

No previous automotive sales experience is required. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent people skills and the drive to build a successful career in sales. You’ll receive ongoing training and support while representing one of Australia’s fastest-growing automotive brands.

Working alongside our experienced sales team, you will learn every stage of the vehicle sales process while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting and greeting customers in the dealership

• Learning about Geely vehicles, features and available models

• Understanding customers’ needs and recommending suitable vehicles

• Responding to sales enquiries by phone, email and online platforms

• Booking appointments and following up prospective customers

• Conducting vehicle presentations and assisting with test drives

• Maintaining accurate customer and enquiry records

• Supporting vehicle handovers and deliveries

• Maintaining a high standard of showroom and vehicle presentation

• Working towards individual and dealership sales targets and KPIs

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A genuine interest in sales, customer service and the automotive industry

• A friendly, confident and professional approach

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong organization and follow-up skills

• The ability to work effectively within a team

• Motivation to achieve sales targets and build a rewarding career

• A current WA driver’s license

• A current Motor Vehicle Salesperson’s License, or the ability to obtain one

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or sales would be advantageous but is not essential.
