Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation (AHAC) is a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation delivering holistic health and wellbeing services across Tennant Creek and the Barkly Region. Guided by a vision of healthy, thriving and happy Aboriginal communities, Anyinginyi partners with local people to deliver culturally responsive, community-led care that improves lives and strengthens future generations.
As part of the Piliyintinji-ki (Stronger Families) team, the successful candidates will help deliver culturally appropriate social and emotional wellbeing services that support healing for Aboriginal children, young people and families. Meaning "to make something better, to cure or make something good" in Warumungu, Piliyintinji-ki reflects the team's commitment to creating lasting, community-led outcomes.

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is recruiting two full-time Trauma-Informed Care Practitioners based in Tennant Creek, NT.
Available opportunities include:
Reporting to the Executive Manager (Stronger Families), the successful candidates will provide therapeutic support to children, young people and families while partnering with ACCHOs and partner services to strengthen culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice across the Northern Territory.

To be considered, candidates will require tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health, Community Services, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Pastoral Care or a related discipline, along with demonstrated experience supporting individuals, families or communities affected by trauma and adversity.
