Kmart’s Corporate Systems team supports the platforms and technology that enable more than 50,000 team members across Kmart and Target. Working closely with our People & Capability function, the team is responsible for ensuring our HR technology ecosystem continues to evolve and deliver great outcomes for both leaders and team members.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team on a 12‑month fixed term contract. Acting as the bridge between our Melbourne-based People & Capability stakeholders and our Bengaluru-based technology teams, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering improvements across our SuccessFactors landscape.

This is a business analysis role first and foremost, suited to someone who understands HR technology, enjoys solving business problems, and can confidently translate requirements into outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and opportunities. Acting as the link between People & Capability teams, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery outcomes. Supporting initiatives including Discount Card Digitisation, Workplace Adjustment automation, Offboarding and Alumni Experience, and employee certification integrations. Mapping processes, documenting requirements, and producing clear functional artefacts to support delivery. Collaborating with SuccessFactors specialists and engineers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and system capabilities. Supporting testing, change activities, and business readiness across multiple concurrent initiatives. Identifying opportunities to improve employee experience and streamline people processes through technology.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise applications environments. Strong functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and how it supports People & Capability processes. Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and document solutions. Ability to confidently communicate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple teams and priorities. Experience supporting HR systems projects, integrations, automation initiatives, or process improvements. A pragmatic, organised approach and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous SuccessFactors configuration experience is advantageous, but not required.
