Duty Manager, Bar & Gaming Attendant

Brighton RSL Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Duty Manager, Bar & Gaming attendant to join our professional and friendly team.

This casual position offers a combination of Duty Manager, Bar and Gaming shifts, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Club while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Club during allocated shifts.

• Lead, motivate and support team members to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Ensure compliance with all liquor, gaming and Club policies and procedures.

• Oversee bar, gaming, TAB and Keno operations.

• Assist with cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-shift procedures.

• Respond professionally to member enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must:

• Hold current RSA, RCG and ARCG Competency Cards (essential). Only applicants with these qualifications will be considered.

• Have previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role within the hospitality, club or hotel industry.

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach.

• Possess sound knowledge of bar operations, gaming, TAB and Keno.

• Have excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Demonstrate strong cash handling and administrative skills.

• Be proficient in the use of computer systems.

• Present professionally with excellent grooming standards.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Be available to work a flexible roster, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
